Donald Robert Sherman

Donald Robert Sherman, departed this life February 5 at the age of 78. He was a beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather revered by his wife, daughters, sons in law, and grandchildren. He lived his life as a quiet, thoughtful, and kind man that endeared him to many. He had a full smile and a hearty laugh that would lighten your load on a bad day. He found incredible joy being with family and sharing his faith was easy whether you were a lifelong friend or a new acquaintance. His gentle nature made it easy for people to listen. He was a source from which his family found strength and rest.

He was Connie Sherman’s best friend for 59 years which got better with every year that passed. He was a loving father to Audrey Henry and Kimberly Mendoza. He loved his son in laws David Henry and Carlos Mendoza as his own sons. He reveled in his legacy through his grand children and their spouses Nathan Henry, Emily Wallace (Henry) and Randall Wallace, Melissa Peacock (Henry) and Shane Peacock, Elizabeth Mendoza, Sarah Mendoza, and Carlos Mendoza. He found great joy in his 4 great grandchildren. He will be missed and cherished each day until we see him again.
