Doris Jane (Cobb) Coward

Doris Cobb Coward, 97, of Harvest, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Brookshire Healthcare located in Huntsville, Alabama.

Doris was born on July 4, 1927, to James and Lena Cobb. She was a lifelong resident of Harvest, Alabama.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jim Coward; a son Donald Coward; nine brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her son, Randy Coward and his wife Tina of Harvest, AL; grandchildren, Danna Campbell and her husband Mark, Maxon Bromley, Jimmy Bromley, Bryan Stanley and his wife Lexie, Robert Stanley and his wife Taylor: thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ed Cobb of Huntsville, AL, and Boyd Cobb of Chattanooga, TN; two sisters, Jean Smith of Louisville, KY, and Louise Anne Wiatt of Bryan, TX.

Visitation will be held at Harmony Baptist Church on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 12:00pm - 2:00pm followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 2:00pm. Immediately following funeral services the interment will take place at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
