Edward Leon Dixon

Edward Leon Dixon, age 85 of Sheffield, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018. He was born July 23, 1933 in Nickelsville, VA to Walter and Trula Pippin Dixon. Mr. Dixon was a very religious man and was married to his wife, Edith Dixon for 64 years who preceded him in death in January 2015.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his three sons: Doug Dixon (wife Mary Lou), David Dixon and Mark Dixon and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family members. He was also preceded in death by his sons Michael Dixon and Dewayne Dixon and a grandson Anthony Dixon.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 6th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 7th at 12:00 noon at Spry Funeral Home will interment in Taylor Cemetery in New Market, AL.
