Emery "Fat Daddy" Scott, Sr.

Emery Leonard Scott Sr. (Fat Daddy) was born on June 10, 1966 to Sherry Cooper(proceeding in death) and Lee Brown of Waukegan, IL.
He married his phenomenal wife Gwendolyn Thomas-Scott at Grady Madison AME Church in Madison AL in 2007, but they met at age 16. They have two wonderful children Emery Scott Jr. and Nareeca Scott.

Emery was the fourth born into his union. He accepted christ at a early age. He attended the North Chicago school system. Emery (Fat Daddy) was known for his sense of humor and using his hand to bless souls with his cooking skills. Whenever you were around Emery there was never a dull moment. He loved walking and riding his dog Little Baby AKA Mama around, playing spades, dominos, and watching his cow boys, and we can't forget them 211's. Emery was also know for his choice of language and yelling "ion give a freak"

The lord called Emery home on September 10,2022. Proceeding his death is his mother Sherry Cooper, his sister Yolanda Scott, his uncles Tyrone Smith Sr. and Harold Cunningham, his grandmothers Helen Scott and Louis Scott, his grandfather Robert Scott, his aunt Detrice Cunningham, and his very special nephew Darnell Scott.

Emery leaves to mourn and cherish his memories; his wife Gwendolyn Thomas, his children Emery Scott Jr. (Ceili) of California and Nareeca Scott (Marcus) of Huntsville AL. His grandson Emery Scott III of Decatur AL. His sister's Detrice Bababunmi (Michael) of California, Jiotania Greene (Christopher) of Virginia, Ronell Marie Wells (Danny) of Virginia. His brother's Bagreea Taylor Sr. (Debra) of Wisconsin and Cedric Brown of Waukegan IL. His neices Tyamber Walker (James) of Waukegan, IL., Damilola Bababunmi of California, Marie King of Texas, Shephanie Kessler of Wisconsin, Jody Knotts of Florida, Lynnisha Knotts of Virginia, and Detrice Conver of Virginia. His nephew's Darcell Scott (Danielle) of Michigan, Anthony McPherson of California, Shawn Anthony Copeland of Ohio, Quamonty Copeland of Virginia, Jarrod Copeland of Virginia, Bageera Taylor Jr. of Wisconsin, James Brame of Wisconsin, and Evan Taylor of Wisconsin. He also leaves behind his love to all of his great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and many friends he have connected with over the years.
