Emma Nicole Lawson

Emma Nicole Lawson, age 6 of Madison, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born September 19, 2015 in Madison, AL. She loved her sister and was known by her loved ones for being fearless, sassy and loud. Her nickname was “Pterodactyl”. She always said “I love you a thousand”. Emma was a strong fighter and fought hard the last few months to overcome her disease.

Emma is survived by her mother Jennifer Lawson; father and step mother Timothy Lawson (Melissa); sister Makayla Lawson; step siblings Natalie Payne and Nicholas Le; maternal grandparents Phil and Pat Farmer; paternal grandparents Matthew and Tess Lawson and Theresa and Tom Fitkin; aunt Janice Farmer; uncle Andrew Lawson (Alex); a host of cousins and other family members; and her dog Piper.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home. The service will be on Facebook Live through Spry Funeral Home’s Facebook. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) Foundation.  https://mldfoundation.org
