Mrs. Frances Faye Weeks 84, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017. She was born on December 11, 1932 in Alabama to Albert and Essie (Tucker) Galbreath.

Mrs. Weeks worked for Kroger for 30 years.  She filled a variety of positions but loved most to decorate cakes.

She was a life member of Highlands Baptist Church and very active in most all aspects.  She loved her family whole heartedly but she was most grateful for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:8 To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.  Therefore, we rejoice in the new freedom she is enjoying being in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E. Weeks Sr; son Kenneth E. Weeks, Jr; her mother Sarah Galbreath; her father Albert Galbreath; her sisters Pauline Galbreath and Vonda Lee Waldrep and brothers J.A. Galbreath, Garland Galbreath, Erbie Galbreath and Howard Galbreath.

Survivors include her son David and his wife Donna, daughter Terrie, grandchildren Dustin and his wife Erin and Megan Weeks; two great-grandchildren Eli and Easton.

They say it takes a village and we couldn’t have made it without the help of a special niece Linda Corcoran and a special friend Heidi Henson.  As well as the wonderful people from Alacare hospice including Angie and Christina.

Visitation for Mrs. Weeks will be held at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Services will follow the visitation at 1:00pm in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Haiti Fund at Flint River Baptist Church.
