Frank Lloyd Scaduto

Frank Lloyd Scaduto, 63, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on July 31, 2023, in Guntersville, Alabama. Frank was born in Long Island, New York to Anthony Scaduto and Maria Ventra Scaduto on February 6, 2023.

He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the College of Physics from the University of Chicago. Frank retired from Northrop Grauman. He loved to spend time outdoors hiking, biking, and playing volleyball, and loved to travel. He was active in Democratic political action groups at local and state levels. Frank was a devoted dog dad to Nano, Metta, and Lila.

Frank is survived by his wife, Mayra Penuelas of Huntsville; daughter, Paola Sanabria of Huntsville, and daughter and son-in-law, Andrea Sanabria and Jose Luis Contreas, of Cucuta, Columbia; sister, Teri Scaduto of Long Island, New York; brother, Larry Scaduto and half-brother, Michael Scaduto, both of New York, New York; nephew, Christopher Fenton; and granddaughter, Emma Sophia Contreas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Scaduto and Maria Ventra Scaduto.

A Celebration of Life will be held, and the time and place will be provided soon.

Frank was an excellent human being. He worried about the environment, and he donated to charity. He loved talking to his wife even though signs were needed, but they ended in laughs. He gave excellent pieces of advice to his stepdaughter, Paola, and she will always be grateful for it. The time that he spend in Colombia that year was full of joy. He enjoyed the time with the family, and he played for hours with his granddaughter Emma Sophia. He helped and loved his other stepdaughter, Andrea, even though she was far away. His love for his wife was immense, and she loved him back during the whole time that they were married. We are grateful for life for allowing us to meet such a beautiful person as Frank was. We hope that he can rest in peace knowing that his family will eternally miss him.
