Fredrick Charles Schoenig, age 60, of Harvest, Alabama, passed away on January 1, 2026
Fredrick was skilled in auto body repair and was known for his knowledge, determination and strong work ethic. He took pride in doing things the right way and was a driven, capable man who approached his work and responsibilities with purpose and dedication.
He was a religious man whose life was guided by faith, obedience, and strong moral values. Family meant everything to Fredrick, and he lived as a devoted, family-oriented father who cared deeply for his children. He believed in showing up for the people he loved and valued time spent together above all else.
Fredrick enjoyed the outdoors and found peace in fishing and spending time in and on the water. He appreciated the simple joys of being outside and unwinding in nature. During his downtime, he enjoyed keeping up with media involving football, car racing, and other interests that reflected his curiosity and enthusiasm. No matter how he spent his free time, being with family was always what mattered most to him.
He is survived by his children, Chris and Dalton Schoenig, Zack and Sabrina Wilhoite; his mother, Rosemary Schoenig, brother, Mark Schoenig; sister in-law Rhonda, Niece Caitlyn and nephew Tyler Schoenig. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Schoenig
Fredrick will be remembered as a loving father, a man of faith, and someone who deeply valued family, hard work, and living with purpose. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the love he gave to those closest to him.
