Gail (Lane) Holliday

Wanda Gail (Lane) Holliday 62 of Owens Cross Roads, AL went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2022.  Gail was preceded in death by her parents Hugh Allen Lane, Imogene Lane and sister Lee Goncalves.  Survivors include her husband Edward Marshall Holliday, Jr; sons Jesse Lane Holliday and Adam Woodfin; daughter Miranda Looney; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Gail graduated Athens State College with a bachelors degree in Psychology.  She worked in the addictions and recovery field for various organizations throughout her career most notably The Pathfinders Inc of Huntsville, AL where she served as lead counselor until her retirement.  Gail loved the Lord very much and enjoyed singing, praying and worshiping with fellow Christians.  She had a very loving and caring heart and always enjoyed helping others and volunteering her services wherever she could.  Gail was happily married to Edward Marshall Holliday, Jr of Huntsville, AL for over 39 years where they resided in Owens Cross Roads, AL.  She loved to travel and especially enjoyed going to the beach.  Visitation will be Tuesday Aug 9 from 6-8 pm at Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL.  Funeral services will be at Truth Baptist Church Wed. Aug 10 at 3pm with Pastor Donald Terry officiating, followed by burial at Antioch Cemetery Elkmont, AL.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice 200 Westside Square Suite 440 Huntsville, AL 35801 www.southerncarenewbeacon.org
