Gary Lee Ross, 77, of Toney, Alabama, passed away on November 18, 2025.
Gary was born on January 17, 1948, in Sterling, Colorado. He was raised in Klamath Falls and Bonanza, Oregon. He graduated from Bonanza High School and after high school he joined the Navy where he proudly served his country for 11 years. While in the Navy he traveled around the world twice before he was 21 years old and had two deployments to Antarctica. He would later go on to receive multiple college degrees, an associate’s degree from Oregon Tech; a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oakwood College; and master’s degree in business from Nova Southeastern.
Gary was an avid gun collector and loved to hunt. He was strong in his faith and his love for his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Homer Ross; mother, Vera Ross; and daughter, Iris Ross.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Ross of Toney, Alabama; daughter, Hannah Ross of Portland, Oregon; and son, Martin Quinn of Dunedin, New Zealand.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:00pm at Cornerstone Word of Life Church.
In lieu of flowers the family has request donations be made to Uttermost Witness Boat Project at Cornerstone Word of Life Church.
