Gregory dedicated over 35 years of his life to serving the United States Government. At the pinnacle of his career, he was the highly respected Chief Engineer for Patriot Ground Support Equipment Product Office and an expert on complicated contracts.
He will be remembered for his intelligence, humor, hard work, stubbornness, and caring nature.
In his free time, Gregory enjoyed beekeeping, traveling, winter “glamping” in extreme weather, fine dining, riding motorcycles, repairing and rebuilding vehicles of all sorts, as well as designing, constructing and operating remote-controlled boats and cars. His adventurous spirit and diverse interests brought joy to himself and to those around him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Gregory's honor.
The Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama, is assisting the family with the arrangements during this difficult time. Gregory will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
May he rest in peace.
