Gunter Blake Livingston

Gunter Blake Livingston passed away at home on January 25, 2020. He was born in Centre, Alabama to Blake and Therese Livingston. Gunter is survived by his wife of 44 years, Anne Livingston; Son, Matthew Livingston and his wife Christina; Daughter, Gina Young and her husband Kevin; Grandchildren, Keira, Connor, Olivia, and Lauren; Sister, LuAnn Smith and her husband Ron. He is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Aubrey Livingston.
Gunter Served in the US Air Force before moving to Huntsville, Alabama where he began his career as a Missile Systems Engineer. Gunter was a faithful member of Weatherly Heights Baptist Church for 38 years. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, hiking, reading, Star Trek reruns, singing bass in the church choir, and repairing computers for family and friends.
Gunter’s family would like to thank his Amedisys Hospice Team, and special caregivers Baylee and Amanda.
Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Weatherly Heights Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 with the celebration of life immediately following.
