Helen Ann (Smith) Carter

Helen Smith Carter 84, of Hazel Green, AL, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 16, 2019. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hazel Green, AL and retired from Dillard’s. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.She is survived by her daughters; Vicki (Bert) Phillips and Jill (Butch) Patrick, son Jeff (Dana) Carter, grandchildren; Beau Blair, Logan Anderson, Jessica Young, Trey Phillips and Matt Patrick; great grandchildren; Charlee, Wyatt, Audree, Coe, Ellie, Madison, Sawyer, Slade, Beren, Lilly Joy, Sarah and Rosalie who is due in December; sisters Shirley Lowery and Nadine (Wes) Whitefield, several nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends and family that loved her so much.

Visitation will be held at Spry Funeral Home on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Services will follow the visitation on Monday at 2:00pm in the Spry Funeral Home chapel.
