Helen Diane Couch

Helen Diane Christian Couch passed from this earth to live with the Lord on August 14th , 2025.
She was 85.

She was the daughter of the late Luther and Azilene Christian of Vera, Texas.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Clowdus of Hurst, Texas, son Marc and wife Kathy Couch of Huntsville, Alabama, granddaughters Cecilia Clowdus of Abaline, Texas and Natalie Clowdus of Hurst, Texas.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents Luther and Azilene Christian, brothers Hudson, Calvin and Morris Christian, sisters Bobby Bently and Katherine Patterson and Granddaughter Mary Williams.

Diane was baptized at the Methodist Church in Vera Texas. She was a good Christian and loved doing good things for people.

Diane graduated from Vera High School and attended North Texas State University. She was a substitute teacher for Indian Hills and Red Rock Elementary schools in Gallup New Mexico.

After moving to Seymour, Texas she became a devoted caregiver. She had great compassion and concern for the elderly people and felt that she could make their lives a little brighter. She hoped she had brought some happiness to those she ministered. She will be greatly missed.

Diane will be cremated and her ashes spread into the Tennessee river as per her wishes during a private ceremony with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane’s memory to your favorite charity.
