Helen Elizabeth (Ross) Davis

Helen Elizabeth (Ross) Davis, 86, of Guntersville, AL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4th, 2026.

She lived a long, beautifully blessed life centered around her faith and family.

Born in Madison County, Helen was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandma.

She was a member of Wall Highway Baptist Church. During her career, Helen was a leader in her field.

Helen will be dearly remembered for her personality and loving, caring ways. Her grandchildren cherish and remember her in many different ways. If ever you needed to be cheered up or told the truth, you could just call or visit Grandma. 

You could always find her with a fishing pole at her favorite fishing hole (The Pump House). She cherished spending time with her family, enjoyed going on family vacations, and consistently showed her love, always cooking Sunday dinner where everyone was warmly welcomed. Even up until her final breath she was telling family how much she loved them.

Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Marnol Wayne Davis, her daughter, Lisa Ann Davis, her grandson, B.J. Sanders Jr., her parents and five siblings.

She is survived by her loving children: two daughters, Kathy and husband Bobby J. Sanders and Janet and husband Richard Page; and one son, Marnol Davis Jr. and wife Vicki Davis.

Helen was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Bambi Sanders Marquardt, Travis Page, Jessica Page Bodner, Megan Davis, Allison Davis Neeley, and Aaron Davis. Her legacy continues through her seventeen great-grandchildren. She was also loved and adored by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, from 10:30AM to 12:00 PM at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
