Helen Louise Lusk

Mrs. Helen Louise Lusk, age 87, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday morning at The Health Center at Research Park. She worked many years as a school crossing guard for the Huntsville Police Department and was a long time member of College Park Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lusk; daughter, Deborah Gail Lusk; parents, Luther and Hestle Sims; brothers, Donnie and Ricky Sims.

Mrs. Lusk is survived by her son, Ronald Lusk, and wife Deborah; granddaughter, Sarah Schmiedl, and husband Alan; grandson, William Lusk, and wife Leslie; brother Harold Sims, and wife Margie; and five great-granddaughters.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Monday, April 14, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. Funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Pastor Raine Wohlwend officiating. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone at The Health Center at Research Park for their love and care of Helen these past few years, and to Hospice Family Care for their care and support during her final days.
