Imogene (Troup) Bevil

Imogene Troup Bevil, 88, of Huntsville, AL passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. Jean or Gann to her grandchildren, born on April, 19, 1937 in Huntsville, AL. She was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, daughter, sister and a cherished friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tyree and Mattie Troup, her husband Jerry Bevil, her daughter Jerri Bevil, her son Christopher Bevil, sister Dorothy Perry and brother Carl Troupe. She lived a life full of grace, kindness and love and devotion for her family.

She is survived by her sister Virginia Harden, daughter Lynne Swift, her son in law Robert Swift, her granddaughter Molly Sullivan Fulkerson and her husband Tate Fulkerson, her grandsons Sean Swift and Dustin Swift and his wife Rachel Swift and her great grandchild Lowen Marie Swift.

Arrangements have been made at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends on Thursday, September 18th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. A service will be held at the Spry Chapel on Friday, September 19th at 10:00am followed by the burial at Maple Hill Cemetery.
