Jack Norman Dempsey

It is with great sadness and love that the family of Jack Norman Dempsey announces his passing after a long illness on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the age of 73 years. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife and soul mate of 48 years, Cathy, and his children: Jonathan (Cynthia), Jessica (Ernie) and Megan. Jack will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Malakhi Lepkin of Denver and Madeline Maples of Huntsville and sisters in law, Nancy Jones Dupree of Denver, Colorado, Nadia Lynn Maudsley of Coral Gables, Florida and Jerald Mark Jones of Jacksonville, Florida.

Jack lived in various places as he was growing up, including Japan after World War II as his father was career military. He received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alabama School of Business in 1969 and married Cathy in 1970 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was also an avid outdoorsman enjoying nature that he loved so much.

A graveside service will be held at Maple Hill cemetery Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Father Michael MacMahon officiating.
