Janice Gay (Decker) Eason

Janice Gay (Decker) Eason, 88, of Huntsville, AL, passed away at home on September 12, 2023 after a brief illness. Mrs. Eason was born September 15,1934 in Ludlow, MA. She served in the U. S. Navy where she was trained as an electronics technician, and met and married Earle David Eason. After their discharge, they lived in Syracuse, NY; Baldwinsville, NY; and Huntsville, AL. She earned an associates degree in Interior Design and a Bachelor of Arts in English.

She was preceded in death by her father John Decker, mother Olivia Sanger (Moore) Decker, and her husband of 55 years Earle. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Jennifer Eason, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Spry Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A private graveside service is planned. The cemetery limits flowers but the family would deeply appreciate gifts to the American Bible Society in Janice's memory.
