Janice M. Mazikowski, 82, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 3, 2021 after a long illness.
Beloved wife of 50 years to the late John A. (Jack) Mazikowski, dearest mother of Mark E. (Margaret) Mazikowski, Laurie (Ronald J.) Skelton and Daniel J. Mazikowski; loving grandmother to James A. Mazikowski and John M. Mazikowski. Survivors also include sisters Sharon (David) Measer and Carol (Roy) Cook, brothers Angus R. McNeil and William J. (Kathy) McNeil, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Angus S. and Frances M. McNeil.
A lifelong homemaker, Janice took great pride also in her time spent as a sales representative for
companies such as Fashion Two Twenty, Aubrey Creations, and Jewels by Park Lane; as well as her
years of service with NCO Wives Clubs and The Retired NCO Wives Club, holding office as both Treasurer and President. The many years of devotion both Janice, and her beloved Jack, poured into the community of St. Joseph Catholic Church stand reflected in a number of installations on the church grounds that bear their names, giving testimony furthermore to their longstanding faith in Christ and His Church at large. We take solace now to know that these two dance together once more into the radiant arms of their Savior-- Breathing Easy, Packing Light... Unforgettable.
The family will receive friends and family on Friday, July 9 at 3:00pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated immediately following at 4:00pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2300 Beasley Ave., Huntsville, AL 35816 with Father Joseph Lubrano officiating.
