Jeremy Douglas Dempsey, 39, of New Market, Alabama, passed away on April 7, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Ray Dempsey and Angela Robin Birdsong; grandparents, Bobbie Junior Birdsong and Patricia Jo Wilson; great-papa, Junior Lassister; grandmother, Shirley Lassister; uncles, Mark David Birdsong, Martin Allen Birdsong, Brian David Birdsong, James Lassister; and aunt, Dayle Dempsey.

He is survived by his son, Chase Jacob Dempsey; stepson, Brandon Lee Kim; aunts, Robin Evonne Birdsong and Bobbie Jo Birdsong; uncle, Micah Adam Birdsong; partner, Amber Whitsett, and many cousins who loved him so much.

Jeremy was very creative, from detailed drawing to his eclectic taste in music. We all have memories that we will forever cherish.
