It comes with a deep sadness to announce the passing of our beloved Jessica Kelly Bracken, gone far too soon at the age of 41, on May 7, 2026. She was born in Panama City, FL on July 27th, 1984.
She had the most loving, unique soul and anyone lucky enough to have truly known her knew she was often misunderstood by the world around her. She loved deeply and gave more of herself than most ever knew. She will be remembered for her heart, her loyalty, her sense of humor, her strength, and most of all for the love that she had for her family. Though her life was not always easy, she deserved peace, happiness, and gentleness on this Earth. This is an indescribable loss and our hearts will ache for her forever, until we meet again.
Jessica was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sandra and Francis Hayes, and her little brother Eli Moore.
She was a mother of 3 and became a grandmother just 10 months ago, to Priscilla Jane. Her legacy will live on through her daughter, Abigail Bracken (Vance Genger) of Athens, AL; and sons Kyler and Kash Vinson of Huntsville. She was a beloved daughter to Penny Moore; and sister to Jennifer Bracken, Eli Moore (passed Jan. 2025) of Athens, AL, and Kaylie Schiavi (Bobby). She is also survived by her father, Gregg Bracken (Marie) of Ellijay, GA.; grandmother, Nancy Reid; aunt, Heidi Wallace (Mike, Kristy, Allie) of Kingsville, MD; nieces, Zoe Bracken of Hot Springs, AR and Lily of Huntsville, AL; nephew, Bo; and Brian Hayes (Lizanne) of Bryn Mawr, PA; Phyllis and Trayce Clark of Hot Springs, AR; and Robin and Oran Jones of Wylie, TX.
In honor of her memory and the love she leaves behind in her three children and grandchild, flowers for her children would be deeply appreciated. If you wish, donations may also be made in her name to a halfway house, addiction recovery program, or local addiction resource center, in hopes that even one family may be spared the heartbreak of this same loss.
