Jimmie Dale Freeman

Jimmie Dale Freeman, 76, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away January 17, 2026. He was born on August 26, 1949.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Walter and Geneva Hess Freeman and brother James Monroe Freeman. He is survived by his guardians David and Linda Freeman and many family and friends. He loved to play the guitar and sing country and gospel music. He loved to spread the joy of music to others whether at the Presbyterian Apartments, the Senior Center, or at Christmas time with loved ones. He was a member of Pleasant Springs Baptist church.  

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, with Pastor Edwin Jenkins officiating. Visitation is at 1:00pm with the service at 2:00pm and burial following at Rice Cemetery.
