JoAnn Kehres

Jo Ann Kehres, 84, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Jo Ann was born in Subiaco, Arkansas to Joseph and Marie Bauer. She married Michael Kehres in May 1959, and they moved their family to Huntsville in 1974. She worked in bookkeeping throughout her life, but her greatest joy was raising her children and becoming a Nana to six wonderful grandchildren. She enjoyed the hobby of cross stitching which brought some of her closest friends into her life.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 61 years. She is survived by her children, Greg Kehres, David Kehres (Shelley), Steve Kehres (Donna), and Suzanne Tomlinson (Chip); grandchildren, Jayna Kehres, Abby Tomlinson, Dylan Kehres (Erika), Michelle Kehres, Amanda Tomlinson, and Joey Tomlinson (Maggie); great-grandson, Henry Tomlinson; and siblings, Tommy Bauer, Alice Dennis, and Dennis Bauer.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 9th at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. The visitation will begin at 10:00am with a ceremony following at 11:00am. Committal will take place at the Good Shepherd Columbarium.
