Joan Geraldine (Sinnott) Glad

Joan G. Glad, 88, of Madison, Alabama, passed away on August 4, 2022 peacefully in her sleep at home.
Joan was born in New York to Richard and Margaret Sinnott on September 14, 1933.
Joan was a homemaker for most of her life and she enjoyed old musicals especially Nelson Eddy and
Jeanette MacDonald
Joan is survived by her Daughter Marianne Glad of Madison , Al, Her son Alan Glad, his wife Veronica
and her two granddaughters Paige and Jordan of Holtsville, New York and her son Gregory Glad and his
wife Mary of Rockville Centre, New York as well as her brother Richard Sinnot of Lexington, S.C.. She is
preceded in death by her husband Michael A. Glad, her parents Richard and Margaret Sinnott, her sister
Catherine Jordan and her sister Margaret Johnson.
Memorial service and visitation will be held at Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL on Monday, August 8,
2022 at 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm with Reverend Father Joe Lubrano of St. Joseph Catholic Parish officiating.
Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville, Al will be handling the arrangements.
