John Walter Sinquefield

John Walter Sinquefield of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on November 17, 2022 with his loving wife, Jeanine Sinquefield, by his side. He was 67. He was born in Dothan, Alabama on May 8, 1955. Walt was a long time employee at PPG, retiring after 41 years. He was devoted to the Lord and was a member of Bridges of Hope Fellowship. He loved his family, friends, and fishing. Any chance he had, he would go for bike rides on his Harley. He was a character and enjoyed a good laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Sinquefield and Evelyn Sinquefield, and his oldest brother, Steve Sinquefield.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanine Sinquefield; brothers, Roger Sinquefield (MaryJane) and Stan Sinquefield (Penny); nephews, McLain Sinquefield and Sam Sinquefield; stepchildren, Brian Moon (Cindy), Stephanie Burch (Chris ), and Brent Moon (Adrienne); and 7 grandchildren who referred to him as “Pop”: Rylee Moon, Brody Moon, Elijah Moon, Leah Moon, Sarah Moon, Emma Burch and Hannah Burch.

Walt was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 1:00pm. Services will be held  in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00pm with burial to follow in Rice Cemetery.
