Joseph Lee Dennis

Joseph Lee Dennis (Joe), age 88, husband of the late Ruby Dennis of New Market, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 18, 2021.

Born July 13, 1932 in Huntsville, AL, he was the son of the late Joseph and Leona Dennis.

Joe was a true family man and always put everyone else above himself. He loved animals, the outdoors, and working with his hands. He could fix anything. He is a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his sons Joseph Lee Dennis, Jr. and his wife Teresa and Danny Ray Dennis and his wife Ginger; grandchildren Tiffany (Matthew) Braswell, Daniel (Jennifer) Dennis and Whitney (Lauren) Dennis; great-grandchildren Ashlyn, Tinley and Willow Braswell, Brynnley Dennis and Walker Dennis. He is also survived by his brothers Bobby, John, and Dwight Dennis.  

The family will receive friends on Thursday April 22 at 12 noon at the County Lake Full Gospel Church in Gurley, AL, with a service to follow at 1:00. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL.
