Judith Anne Bullington, age 73, passed away on March 9, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital Hospice in Huntsville, Alabama, from complications of sepsis. She was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to the late Earl T. Miller and Mary Ruth Miller. She was a graduate of Bowling Green High School class of 1970.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Mark Miller and Kathy Orange.
She is survived by her youngest sister, Mary Beth Brown (David), with whom she made her home in Alabama for the past ten years. She is also survived by her aunt, Anne Mimms, of Bowling Green, KY; her nieces Amy Brown (Chris) of Oklahoma and Kimberly Orange-Lay of Liberty, Kentucky; her nephews Leon T. Orange (Marilyn) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Ben Brown (Abigail Barbier-Brown) of Bluffton, South Carolina; as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Judy worked a variety of jobs throughout her life. Her final position, which she held for ten years, was as a deputy jailer at the Simpson County Jail in Franklin, Kentucky. She was proud of her work there and the people she served alongside.
Judy devoted two years of her life caring for her oldest sister, Kathy, during Kathy’s declining health. After Kathy’s passing, Judy moved to Alabama to live with her younger sister, Mary Beth. During those years, she became known as “Aunt JuJu” to Mary Beth’s two Yorkies, Bambi and Daisy, whom she spoiled with far too many treats. They adored her, and she adored them right back.
Judy loved hummingbirds, watching cooking shows, and following her favorite programs, especially The Voice. She enjoyed talking about recipes, television episodes, and everyday life with her sister. Although her health kept her from doing many of the things she once enjoyed, the years she spent with family were filled with laughter, conversation, and shared memories.
Judy was a proud and stubborn woman whose circle was small, but her love for those close to her was fierce and unwavering. She had a wonderfully twisted sense of humor that was especially appreciated by her sister Mary Beth, and the two shared many moments of laughter together.
In accordance with Judy’s wishes, there will be no memorial service.
