Keith Barnes

Louis Keith Barnes, 71, of Huntsville, died Monday, October 23, 2023. Keith was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. He served in the United States Army as a mechanic for almost 3 years. He was in the Vietnam War from August 1970 through October 1971. 

He is survived by his daughter Stacy Soohoo (Howard), son Zachary Barnes (Stephanie), grandchildren Braden Milar and Brookelyn Soohoo, sister Pam Sadler (Glen), brother Johnny Barnes, special cousin Betty Jo Wilburn and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his mother Louise Rhoden (1972), dad John Henry Barnes (1981), daughter Jessica Barnes (1987), and sister Phyllis Hatley (2011), brother Roy Cates (2011).

Louis Keith Barnes will be buried next to his daughter in a private family ceremony. 

The family has asked for donations to Vietnam Veterans of America instead of flowers. Please dedicate the donation to “Keith Barnes”.
