Kenneth Stanley Kemmerer Jr.

Kenneth Stanley Kemmerer Jr., age 88, passed away on September 22, 2025, in Harvest, Alabama.

Kenneth was born in Evansville, Indiana on January 22, 1937, to Kenneth and Arbutus Kemmerer. He was a graduate of Bosse High School. He married Barbara Ann Butts on October 11, 1958, in Evansville, Indiana. He was a loving husband, proud father, and dedicated friend. Kenneth worked for Whirlpool Corporation for 35 years and retired to Florida where he enjoyed his time boating and fishing and the social life of the community. He was an active member of the Elks and AMVETS. As a young man Kenneth served in the Indiana National Guard.

Kenneth is proceeded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; daughter, Cindy Champlin; and brother, Douglas Kemmerer.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Sherry Quirey (Alan); son, David Kemmerer (Dorothy); sister, Suzanne Hiser (Lynn); grandchildren, Nick Champlin, Sam Chaplin, Angie Boyle, Andrew Scott, Hannah Kluemper, Austin Stone, David Kemmerer Jr. (Dak), and Gage Kemmerer, as well as 6 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:30pm until 4:00pm on October 11, 2025, at 3:30pm followed by a memorial service at 4:00pm officiated by Pasture Rick Cantrel at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. 2411 Memorial Parkway NW, Huntsville, Alabama, 35810
