He ended his career as a contract manager running contracts for missile testing and flight range operations among others.
Larry was a caring and loving son and brother, but his true calling in life began at the start of his 60-year marriage to Mary Ann and the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren from that marriage. He was a devoted Christian and a founding member of Huntsville Bible Church, where he served as a deacon for many years. Larry moved to Guntersville full-time in 1988, and a few years later, retired and started enjoying his time at the lake with his family. He taught all his grandchildren to ski and to love being on the water while enjoying family fun. Summertime holds special memories for the grandchildren. Larry attended Creek Path Baptist Church in Guntersville.
