Lisa Ann (Justus) Poorman

It is with great sadness that we announce that Lisa Ann Poorman passed away on Sunday, January 19 after her battle with cancer at 64 years old.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill; her 4 children, Luke, Nick, Kristopher, and Kevin; as well as her brother, Richard; and sister, Pat.

Lisa had a long and successful career in the legal field but not without a detour to get a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a stint as an elementary school teacher where she couldn't help but try to be a mother as well as a teacher to the entire class. Lisa and Bill loved to travel and go on adventures together and she even went whitewater rafting twice, though she decided twice was enough. She loved to hike and be surrounded by nature and she also couldn't pass up a good concert. She was relentlessly kind and caring and brightened every life she touched and she will be terribly missed.
