Lola Mae (Miller) Henson

Lola Mae (Miller) Henson went to be with the Lord Friday March 1, 2024, at the age of 94.

Lola is preceded in death by her parents, Tollie Miller and Lena Poole, her husband, Vernon Henson, and sisters Christine Chambers, Hazel Kimbrough, Marie Vickers, brother Edward Miller and her stepdaughter Brenda Hillis.

She leaves behind her children Shela (Joe) Crowder, Jane Ray, Rickie Hawkins, Shawn Henson, and Danean (Greg) Hancock. She is lovingly remembered by her children and six generations of grandchildren.

She enjoyed drinking coffee watching the hummingbirds in her many flowers, traveling out West, and her trip to Hawaii. She will always be remembered for her kind and gentle nature along with her variety of amazing meals that she would prepare for her family.

Visitation will be held March 3, 2024, from 11am-1pm at Spry Funeral Home with the funeral following immediately after. Interment will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery.
