Louis Albert McMullen

Louis Albert McMullen, age 85 of Huntsville, entered into the presence of the Lord Sunday, March 26, 2023. He was born February 25, 1938, to Hermon and Mary McMullen in Madison County. Mr. McMullen accepted Jesus as his savior in March of 1981 and was His faithful servant working in different areas of the church. He was a loving and devoted husband and father and retired from Huntsville Utilities. He loved reading, riding motorcycles, guns, metal detecting (or treasure hunting) and all things about space and rockets. Mr. McMullen was known for his corny jokes and had an enormous curiosity about everything and was a “homestyle inventor”.

Mr. McMullen is survived by his wife of 61 years, Brenda McMullen; children: Terica Meador (Steve), Wanda Vaughn (Scott) and Donna Henderson (Barry); seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several precious nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brother.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Scott Gossett officiating and Jack Parker singing. Interment will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
