Lucy Marie (Moore) Gray

On August 17, 2023, Lucy Marie Moore Gray gained her wings at Heritage Assisted Living and Memory Care. Lucy was proceeded in death by her husband Lawrence (Larry) Gray, her parents Issac Moore and Coreen Moore and 12 siblings, her special aunts Christine Talley and Rosi (Teddy) Talley who raised her. Lucy is survived by many nieces and nephews and a sister-in- law.

Lucy graduated from Butler High School in 1953. After high school she married her high school sweetheart Larry. Lucy worked at Sterchi's and 1st Federal before going to work as a secretary for Chrysler for 30+years. She was a member of Jackson Way Baptist Church and spent most Sundays in the nursery taking care of all the babies at her church. Lucy and Larry loved to travel and spent many days with friends on the beach in Florida. She loved reading her bible and books, shopping, eating out, doing beautiful cross stitch, putting together Thomas Kinkade puzzles and Bunco. 

We cannot thank the nurses, caregivers and staff at Heritage enough for their love and care for our sweet Lucy. She will be deeply missed by all that loved her.
