Mardi Lynn McDaniel

Mardi Lynn McDaniel passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on January 19, 2025. Mardi was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 14, 1956. She graduated from Butler High School in 1974 and attended several universities.

Mardi was a gentle soul whose kindness knew no boundaries. She never met a stranger and would gladly share all she had with those she knew and loved. Her greatest accomplishment came with the birth of her son, Zachary Lloyd. The pride she had for Zac was deep and gave her a lot of hope for the future.

Mardi is survived by her son, Zachary L. McDaniel; her sister, Roberta Levi; her brother-in-law, Paul Levi; her niece, Hannah Wheatcraft; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and Zac’s dad, Dennis McDaniel and her parents, Mary Lou and Lloyd Wright.
