Margie Dean (Miller) Stapler

Margie Faye Dean Stapler of Laceys Spring, Alabama passed away September 26, 2018 in Decatur, Alabama at the age of 74. Mrs. Stapler was born on May 1, 1944 in Huntsville, Alabama to Earl and Geneva Miller.

One of twelve children, she was greatly loved by her family. She was survived by her husband, James “Calvin” Stapler; her daughter, Peggy Cox (Ronald); her son, James Counts (Leigh Ann); her sisters, Wanda Clark, Sharon Hinds (Steve), Shirley Dant (Rodney); her brother, Robert Miller; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 Mrs. Stapler was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Geneva Miller; her brothers, Jerry Miller, Leon Miller, Ronald Miller and Wayne Miler; her sisters, Patricia Dadfar, Lisa Reed, and Linda Miller.

Mrs. Stapler loved her Chihuaua dogs, flowers and gardening. She worked many years in manufacturing as a soldering tech.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm for visitation at Spry Funeral Home, Huntsville. The Celebration of Life will be in Spry Chapel on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 2:30 pm. Burial will follow at Lipscomb Cemetery, Hwy 231, Lacey Springs, Alabama.
