Marlyn Hall Obituary

Marlyn Delores Hall, born July 15, 1940, passed away December 31, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Frank Gwathney and Nelta Fanning Gwathney, and husband James Aubert Hall. She is leaving behind a family that loved her dearly and two special ex-coworkers, Diane Jernigan and Patti Powell.

Mrs. Hall retired from the USAOMEMS (previously Ordnance Missile, Munitions Center and School), 59th Ordnance Brigade, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, where she was known as "Mamma Marlyn". She was also known to the young soldiers as someone who would cut their hair or free and offer free advice. She was a very giving, loving person to all who knew her and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
