Martha Jane (Brown) Johnson

Martha Jane Johnson, 64 of Florence, Alabama passed away on November, 14th, 2022. Martha was born on November 21st, 1957 in Florence, Alabama to Cleven James Brown and Opal Geneva Gillis Brown. Martha attended Wilson High School and after graduating in 1976 she worked in several different fields of employment such as banking and at Sam's. 

Martha married James Michael Johnson and they together had two sons Douglas and Christopher Johnson. Martha in her spare time enjoyed gardening, crocheting, painting, and reading. Martha was of the Baptist faith.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Michael Johnson, and brother Larry Powell. Survivors include her two sons, Douglas and Christopher Johnson, three sisters Linda Hill, Angie Puller (Eddy), and Kaye Tillery (Doug), also two brothers Tim Brown, Randy Brown, a sister in-law Elsie Powell, along with numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Martha was loved by many and will be missed greatly.
