Mary Ann (Lovett) Alexander

Mary Ann Alexander, devoted Christian and mother passed away, peacefully at home Friday, May 16, 2025 at the age of 84.

Mary Ann was born on September 1, 1940 in the Bunker Hill Community of Giles County, Tennessee to David Alvie Lovett and Mary Lou Chapman Lovett. She was a resident of Huntsville, AL since 1973, settling in the Morgan County community of Somerville in 2022.

Mary Ann was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She found joy in serving her Savior Jesus Christ, attending church, teaching Sunday School, gardening in younger years and Homemaking. Her unwavering devotion to Christ and her love for her family will forever resonate in the hearts of those closet to her.

Mary Ann Alexander is preceded in death by parents: David Alvie Lovett and Mary Lou Chapman Lovett, Spouse of 39 years: Donald Robert Alexander, brothers: William David Lovett, Gerome Wayne Lovett and Charles Elmer Lovett. She is survived by brother: Robert Morris Lovett, children: Timothy Craig Alexander, Susan Michelle Dana (Doug) and Donna Ann Wright (Craig), 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many grandpups.

Celebration of Life is Friday, May 23, 2025 at Highland Baptist Church, 23 Highland Avenue, Laceys Spring, AL 35754. Visitation will be 12pm with the service at 1pm.
