Mary (Smith) Bryant

Mary Bryant, 76 of Brownsboro, Al., passed away on March, 29th, 2023. 

Mary was born the 4th child of 6 to Clyde & Ventres Smith of Paint Rock Valley in Jackson County, AL. She grew up and lived around this area all her life. She was respected & admired; not just by her family and friends; but by people from all walks of life. Mary was known for her kind heart, generosity and  "Welcome Door" Come on in, get you a seat, You want a Pepsi Or Mt. Dew? Is what she would always say. She was friends with everyone and you were always welcome at her home.

Mary was a voice to be heard with the United Auto Workers Union For Chrysler Corporation. She then retired from Chrysler after 27 yrs of service. She was an active member of the Eagles affiliation for over 29 yrs. 

She enjoyed Traveling, Gardening doing ceramics, flea markets and also charity work. Her most loved things to do was to sit with her life long friends Jeannette and Trish and chit chat about the "Good ole Days."

On this day March 29, 2023 another angel earned their wings. Waiting for her on that golden shore were both parents, 2 siblings; Doyce Smith & Sylvia Hobbs; Beloved husband AJ and only daughter Kimberly. 

Leaving behind in her absence are 3 sisters; Naioma Kindred, Patsy Ohman, Gail (Royce) Banks; along with many Nieces & Nephews and friends.

Pastor James Harold and Freddy Gipson will be officiating her service at Spry Funeral Home on April 4, 2023 with placement at Huntsville Memory Gardens alongside her husband and daughter. 

From all of us left behind we say to you "Fly High Mary" until we meet again.
