Mary Elizabeth Durham

Mary Elizabeth Durham, 86, passed away on September 10, 2025, in Huntsville, Alabama, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on December 9, 1938, in Gurley, Alabama. Mary was the daughter of Roy and Ruby Key. She retired from Ultra Clean Cleaners after 35 years of service. She will be remembered for her faith in God, contrariness, her love for traveling, food, and her devotion to her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Thomas (Bill) Durham and second husband, Carter Parnell; her brothers, Junior and Charlie (Ray) Key; and her grandson, Daniel Wilbourn.

Mary is survived by her children, Sue (Chuck) Lamons, Gwen (Bobby) Wilbourn, Lesley (April) Durham, Shannon (Scott) Harris, Tracy (Derek) Christa; her grand-children, Stacey (Mickey) McAllister, Melissa Hall, Christopher (Veronica) Lamons, Chrissy (Caleb) Guthrie, Cyndi Durham, Brandon (Taylor) Christa, Coty (Leigh-Anne) Durham, Kelly (Steven) Henley, Dakota Durham, and Kaitlyn Harris; brother, Frank Key; 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
