Mary Francis (Johnson) Brown, born August 20, 1929 in Munford, Alabama. She was a beautiful, loving soul with a positive attitude and uplifting spirit that embodied her way of life. She was a faithful child of the Lord and is sure to be rejoicing in heaven. Mary passed in her bed overnight after a restful day on Easter Sunday listening to music and some of Billy Graham’s past sermons.
Mary is preceded by her parents, Claude Warren Sr. and Ella Francis (Earl) Johnson, and her siblings Claude Jr., Smoky, and David (Bat) Johnson. She was also preceded by her loving husband, Billy J. Brown and daughter, Belinda Brown.
Mary is survived by an extended family, including her sister Martha Cooper, several nieces and nephews, her children Michael Stanley (Tiffeny) Brown, and Vanessa (Jeff) McClendon, her former daughter in-law Karen Rhodes, grandchildren Chris (Pam) Brown, Shannon (Beverly) Holladay, Kevin (Amber) Brown, Matthew (Rachael) Brown, Brian Brown, Chasta (Bryan) Tucker, Stevie (Jonathan) Warner-Smartt, and Dana Jones family. Her great grandchildren include Taylor, Hunter, Liam Jude, Isla, Josephine, Sarah, Madelynn, Oliver, and Adalee.
Mary is also survived by her kitties and puppies, which is a testament to her love for God’s creation, nature, and our Lord Jesus.
Mary is deeply loved by her family and will be missed dearly. May God bless her soul.
