Michaela Ann (LaCouture) Rockey

Michaela Ann (LaCouture) Rockey, 80, of Harvest, Alabama, passed away on November, 14, 2024.

Born July 31,1944, in Hackensack, NJ, the second child of seven brothers and sisters to Michael A. LaCouture, Jr. and Evelyn R. (Hynes) LaCouture. A graduate of St. Lukes RC High School in Hohokus, NJ and Holy Name Hospital School of Nursing, Teaneck, NJ, where she received her RN License and specialized in Medical, Surgical and Pediatrics until starting a family of her own. Married to Robert S. Rockey of Ringwood, NJ for 59 years and mother of six (three girls and three boys). Nicknamed “Sheila,” she is survived by son Robert (Dani) Rockey, son Brian (April) Rockey, daughter Theresa (James) McClellan, daughter Catherine (Gary) Focarino, son David (Robynn) Rockey, and daughter Suzanne (Truvell) Burroughs, brothers Thomas and Brian LaCouture, and Sister Denise Mitchell, husband Robert S. Rockey and glorified by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Arrangements by Spry Funeral Home, 2411 Memorial Parkway NW, Huntsville, AL 35810, to include a visitation at 10:00am Tuesday, November 19, 2024, and chapel service at 11:00am. Burial thereafter at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 139 Meridianville Bottom Road, Meridianville, AL.
