Opal Craig

Mrs. Opal E. Craig, 92, of New Market, AL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November, 18th, 2025. She was a native of Madison County and was born to Emmett and Nannie Helen Henshaw. Opal was a member of the Holiness church for almost 80 years.

Opal was preceded in death by her husband Carl Lendon Craig, and her daughter Anna Maria Craig.

 Opal is survived by daughter Carla Craig; son, Jerry Craig (Tanya); daughter, Judy McCormick (Chris); four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a sister, Fay Lohenitz; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville, Al.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00-8:00 pm at Riverton Holiness Church. Mrs. Opal Craig will lie- in- state Sunday from 10:00-11:00 am with the service to follow at 11:00 am at Riverton Holiness Church with Bro. William Cantrell and Bro. Matt Long officiating. The interment will follow at Green Valley Cemetery in Owens Cross Roads.
