Otis Wilson Quillin

Otis Wilson Quillin, 76 of Gurley, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 13 at Huntsville Hospital. He was a lifetime resident of Madison County. He worked over 35 years as a store manager for Winn Dixie. After retiring from there, he drove a school bus for Buckhorn High School for 10 ½ years.

His hobbies were fishing, hunting, gardening, and cooking. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors are his wife Theresea Quillin of Gurley; son Joe (Veronica) Quillin of Athens; two step-sons, Anthony (Victoria) Evans of Lexington, SC and Donald Clark of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Trey Clark of Scottsboro, Logan Evans of Lexington, SC, and Kirstin Evans of Lexington, SC; brother Jack Quillin of Madison, and several nieces, nephews , and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, November 16 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL. Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 17th at 11:00 am at Spry Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rice Cemetery on Winchester Road in New Market, AL.
