Philip Darrow Campbell

Philip Darrow Campbell, 82 years old, of Huntsville, AL, passed away May 17th, 2022. He was born on April 22nd, 1940, in Polk County, Georgia to Tiny and Eva Campbell. Philip was a man of God, a soldier, a great father, and loving husband and brother. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy Campbell (Pitts); daughter, Rebecca Hammack (Justin); brothers, Danny Campbell & Fred Campbell; sisters, Annette Daniels, Judy Smith, Martha Elrod, Denise Gainer, and Sheila Campbell; grandchildren, John O’Shields (Elizabeth) & Brian Scott Gordon (Lizzie); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Tiny & Eva Campbell and sisters, Josephine Payne, Louise Bryson, and Inez Eason.

Graveside service will be held at 12 pm (1 pm Eastern) on Friday, the 20th at Aragon City Cemetery in Aragon, Georgia.
