Phyllis June Whitehead

Phyllis June Whitehead, 69, of Boaz, Alabama, passed away on November 6th, 2025.

She was a loving companion, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose kindness touched everyone she knew.

Family meant everything to her. Being a mother and grandmother were among her greatest joys. She loved spending time with family, cooking, and watching Alabama football. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Gladys Whitehead, brothers, Eddie Joe Whitehead, Jerry Whitehead, sisters, Sally Morris, Brenda Christensen.

She is survived by her loving companion of 35 years, Jim Wilson, her son, Scottie Brand, her daughter, Michelle Brooks (Mike), her sister, Judy MacMullen, her grandsons, Austin Hopkins, Dakota Brand, her granddaughters, Ashleigh Holt (Tanner), Madison Grzybrowski, Mckenzie Brand, Mattie Brooks, great-granddaughter, A'aliyah Mason, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Spy Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm with Pastor Jody Vickory officiating.
