Randal "Bit" Buford

Randal "Bit" Ryan Buford, 69, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born in Huntsville and grew up in Merrimack Village. He attended Joe Bradley School and graduated from Butler High School in 1968. He then attended Freed-Hardman College and Auburn University. Bit retired from the Huntsville City Fire Department after 31 years of service. He enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar, Auburn sports and spending time with family and friends.

Bit was preceded in death by his father Clarence Earl Buford, Jr. He is survived by his mother Mabel Ernestine Baites Buford; daughter Leslie (Heath) Blalock; grandson Tristan Blalock; brothers Rex, Tom and Robyn (Jane) Buford; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Service's will follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Spry Funeral Home.
