Rayford Hall Obituary

Rayford Hall, 85, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on April, 2, 2022 peacefully at his home in Huntsville, Alabama surrounded by family and friends.

Ray was born in Scottsboro, Alabama to James and Tempie Hall on January 22, 1937. He was a US ARMY Veteran having spent some time in Germany. He always had a great sense of patriotism and was always proud of his service in the military. He would always share a story of his time in the military when the opportunity arose. He lived his life as a man of business who made an honest living from his financial investments he sourced by being an exceptionally skilled and talented Professional Poker player.

He was preceded in death by his spouse Linda Kirby Hall.

Ray is survived by his former wife, Ramona Hall, of Huntsville, AL, children, Lisa Petitpas (Rick) of Madison, AL, Phillip Hall and Gregory Hall of Huntsville, AL, and 5 grandchildren, Tucker Hall, Griffin Hall, Forrest Hall, Chandler Hall and Breanne Petitpas, brothers Willis Hall of Texas and Lloyd Hall of Limrock, AL and sisters Juanita Peyton of Huntsville, AL, Edna Stueck of Austin TX and Margaret Ann Campbell of Scottsboro, AL.

To honor his wishes, No funeral or memorial service will be held.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to your favorite Veteran’s based charity or the American Cancer Society. The family also wishes to extend their gratitude to Hospice of Huntsville and the VA.
